I still feel like puking every time I think of Clarence Thomas being on the Supreme Court. Here's a guy who was accused of sexual harassment, and what's his reponse: his mother was upset over the accusation. I can just imagine what he would say if some criminal defendant offered him that excuse as a judge. This guy is supposed to an example of objective jurisprudence? He's a puke.

Here's a guy who was accused of sexual harassment, and what's his reponse: his mother was upset over the accusation. I can just imagine what he would say if some criminal defendant offered him that excuse as a judge. This guy is supposed to an example of objective jurisprudence? He's a puke.

No, but stupid is stupid, and you're stupid. The reaction of Thomas' mother to the accusation is irrelevant to the merits of the accusation and his fitness to serve. "Irrelevant" is a word that I would think Clarence Thomas, and even you, would understand. Yet the complete irrelevance of the remark didn't keep him from making it.
