What's disappointing is the fact that you are a misguided leftover and the reason why people like Doran, Lowry, Lindenfelser must not get elected to the BOE. All you people are no good, political hacks with agendas. Read the bottom of the Official minutes you post, now look real close....... *BASED ON THE 2010/2011 KEA AGREEMENT Keep change for the better coming to the BOE and support any other candidate but those spiteful hacks!!!!! The Interim Superintendent is a *****. There was no grievance filed on behalf of *** ******, who he moved from Step 4 to Step 10. The Union didn't want it. That's because there's NOTHING in the contract to justify that move. If my suspicion is right as to who posted as "Anybody But DLL", I am stunned. It's time that the Interim Superintendent be sent on his way IMMEDIATELY. He keeps saying he's quitting but somehow he's managed to hang around. And now he's getting involved in local politics by opposing the Doran/Lowry ticket and publicly knocking the Mayor. Edited October 5, 2012 by KOTW Content. What are you talking about? It's based on the 2010/11 KEA agreement because that agreement expired on June 30, 2011 and the successor agreement had yet to be negotiated. Those minutes are from February 2012 & the contract hadn't yet been ratified. What the hell did YOU think it meant?

Just because the salary is "Based on the 2010/2011 KEA agreement" doesn't make it necessary appropriate. I think the question is about the act that someone went from step 4 on the guide to step 10. The salary may be accurate for step 10, but why the jump of 6 years?

Where were all of you "concerned" individuals when our AD, Mr. Millar, our ******** Frank Digesere and his ****** ******* Mr. Sprague all recommended the football coach for employment here at Step **, as a gym teacher, plus weight room detail which brings him here at over $100,000.00 with ** ******* experience? None of that rises to the level of the Interim Superintendent making a retroactive salary increase recommendation for someone who just a few months later is "an immediate family member" of the Superintendent. You don't have to be married to the person to full under the ethics code conflict of interest provisions. But this looks like it could be more problematic than an ethics violation. Did anyone check this guy's background before hiring him as Interim Superintendent?

Why has the Board of Education kept quiet on this? Are they that afraid of the Interim Superintendent? He doubled her salary, didn't recuse himself and didn't disclose the conflict. That's incredible.

Guest Italian Foster Brooks
So Ex Superintendent DiGesere supports Lowry/Doran ticket and the Interim Superintendent Bolandi supports Castelli? My personal opinion is that the Interim Superintendent Bolandi is way too intelligent to support someone like Castelli.

Guest Guest
This is exactly why us teachers will do nothing more than the basics to get by in class..Why should we strive to do better.Half of the staff is getting favors for no reason..just because they know someone or have relations with the board members...The Super has to go and his girl friend also..All this is a slap in the face to every teacher in the school and we all know whats going on..So don't expect us to do anymore then required. I'm hoping you aren't really a teacher - us should be we - then should be than - politics has should be politics have or the political system has. I have to rush off to school now, or I'd continue to correct your grammar. Please, confess, you aren't really teaching anyone, are you?
