Guest Patriot
Barack Obama has begun to travel with a teleprompter on the campaign trail. It's obvious he doesn't think very well on his feet which is why he's refused to meet McCain in "Town Hall" style debates. It raises serious questions about Obama's ability to handle that 3 AM call on the red phone. Oral communication is a vital part of the presidency and his inability to speak spontaneously wihout a teleprompter is a deal breaker. If you really believed that you would have never voted for GW because we all know what an eloquent speaker he is and how he can think on his feet. 2.) You should probably be glad they aren't doing a series of town hall meetings because then more and more people would get to see personally how McCain would get stomped. 3.) Sarah Palin used a teleprompter at the convention then lied about it messing up . She is a liar. 4.) Professional musicians read sheet music everyday, what's wrong with that? 5.) Most importantly you are small, petty and very pathetic.
Bern
2.) I gave the above You Tube video link. Its obvious Obama would be the one getting stomped. The whole point of an election is to get the most votes. Obama would do town halls day and night if he thought he could do better than McCain. Obama is the one who chickened out. Here are some more. A bit nasty but it shows he's not the brightest knife in the drawer

A bit nasty but it shows he's not the brightest knife in the drawer If you want to talk about gaffes, "bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb bomb Iran" McCain has a few skeletons in his own closet. Not to mention that he finished 894th in a class of 899, as opposed to Obama, who was near the top of the Harvard law school class. You can spin all you want, but you can't change the facts, even if you lie about them. Play all the gimmie-gotcha games you want. McCain just lost the election by saying the economy was sound on the very day the markets were tanking. A presidential candidate never recovers from a statement like that. It's like Kerry's wind surfing, Dukakis in the tank or Bush I's supermarket bar code gaffe. You want to talk about gaffes, just watch your TV, listen to your radio, read a newspaper or follow the blogs. You'll be seeing McCain denying the fundamental truth of our economic lives over and over --- there's no way he can tell the people he gets it after that one. Guest Guest
It's what I've been saying for months, the man is an empty suit. 144 days in the Senate with no accomplishments. McSame's continual defense of a POTUS with NO ACCOMPLISHMENTS in 7+ years still makes Obama look like the lesser evil of two career politicians. Guest I'm a patriot too
Barack Obama has begun to travel with a teleprompter on the campaign trail. Oral communication is a vital part of the presidency and his inability to speak spontaneously wihout a teleprompter is a deal breaker. Thinking on one's feet is critical, we'll soon find out how the candidates handle themselves in the debates. But McCain has a long history of "misspeaking" on his feet. And look more closely at the "Town Hall" meetings that McCain is holding. Every person has to be pre-screened -- invitation only; you have to be a supporter of McCain to get in, hence the softball questions. Guest Guest
There was no teleprompter for the interviews aired on 60 Minutes last evening. Obama was by far more articulate, more commanding and more presidential than McCain, who at times seemed to be barely containing his anger.
