    If your not going to tell the proper authorities why bother posting about it? It doesn't do any good.
    If you really wanted to stop illegal or wrongful activity of an officer or anyone for that matter and you complained to the proper authority with nothing being done to correct the situation. TAKE A PICTURE and/or video AND MAIL IT TO THE MEDIA....problem solved!

    Those dishes are there because the company does not take them down when people move out or discontinue service. They just keep installing new ones at a high fee. If this continues the town will be covered by dishes, even if they are not working.

    yeah im not a dish owner, really didnt know the company just leaves it up their.. ohwell thats the home-owners issue anyways

    I have a dish and promise that I'm not watching South American soccer games. Realize that there isn't anything special on Channel 35, just would like town announcements to be accessible to everyone.

    if they made "announcements" then people in this town might actually have a clue whats going on, but would they have channel 34 in spanish?

    so it seems one Harrison Police officer's idea of patrolling at night is sitting in his patrol car with his girlfriend talking from 2-4am. I thought the police are short handed, but they have time to sit in the same spot with the car idling for 2 hours talking. Seeing this has lessened my sympathy for their cry of layoffs.

    What a waste of tax dollars.

    I have def seen this in Numerous occasions and its always the same officers :rolleyes:
    maybe this cop was on a fixed post and could not leave the areas he was in
    Give us his name, and report it to Internal Affairs. If this is true, he could be disciplined for not properly patrolling his post and if any hanky panking took place, he could be charged with misconduct in office.
    Where might this be? Why don't you get the car number and report him?
    where did this happen?

    i have known people who have witness certain situations as well as even worser offenses.... i know where... but im not going to say :o... everybodies been there alllll the time im sure of it

    No, the $20 is for the electricity used by the air conditioner payable each month. I wish I could run mine for that price

    $20 a month of electic on an AC all month.. where do i sign up to move in?... we shold hire our 1000th town employee and make him watch the windows at night over there then!

    cause that is very cheap and not right that the tax payers have to pick up their bill

    VERY 'dumb" answer!!!!! THE FILTH NEXT STORE WILL BRING DOWN THE PROPERTY VALUES IN THE AREA ON THAT STREET! iT IS THE TOWN'S RESPONSIBILITY TO SEE THAQT THE PROPERTY OWNERS OBEY THE VIOLATION CODES AND HEALTH CODES OF THE TOWN. THE PROPERTY SHOULD BE INSPECTED AND IF ANY HEALTH OR PROPERTY CODES ARE BROKEN, THAN THEY SHOULD BE ENFORCED BY THE PROPER AUTHORITES !!!!!!

    I dont want to say what kind of people it is that do this sort of thing, but its really very obvious and yeah i have seen all sorts of dirty nasty things get done in this town, diapers thrown right on my personal property, cars cleaned out right into the gutter, people just throwing trash into grassy areas it really is rediculous but, thats the kind of people Harrison.. its not even really Harrisons fault though, they just need wayyy better boarder patrol and start deporting by the thousands.

    wheres the italian, frnech, brittish... hell ever our own USA celebration... they run around this country shitting on us, the tax payers aswell as the economy... and we throw a parade for the illegal immagrant... this town is absurd.. ask them what country they love... it wont be the US.. but where can you gain all this free health care, welfare, whatever scheme they have so they can go back to "my" country with money... its non-sence

    Hey, those of us who have satellite TV (and judging from the number of dishes on roofs in Harrison, that's a lot of people) are unable to view the town announcements that are shown on Cable channel 35. Is there any way to get the same info posted onto a satellite channel so we can see them too?

    all those satelite dishes TVs are for the soccer games in south america and europe

    trust me.. nothing special is on channel 35..

    they should start their cuts with

    1. if you have more then 1 job on for the town

    2. if your making rediculous amount of money for positions people aren't qualified for

    3. if you took all the required tests/certifications for your position

    4. surprise; random drug tests, some employees walk around town looking like their on cloud 9

    thats, just a start.

    One of the cops pulled out his gun on one of the kids on Kingsland. The kid was bleeding and this cop had to wrestle with him until more cops came. Good job.

    I would think as an officer of the law and being that you get a call about gang related situations, and you roll up to the scene by yourself, your going to take all the procautions possible. who knows what kind of retarts those apparent "gang bangers" are, they might want to kill a cop as their initiation. play cat and mouse, the cop runs over, checks him out and some wanna-be, takes his life... the "gang banger" life-style makes alot of knuckleheads act a fool. whats worse is those kids would get their ass handed to them if they went to newark, camden, jersey city, elizabeth and irvington.
