Guest Citizen
I understand that there are to be several promotions in the Harrison Fire Department. Is that the truth? Are there any openings?
Guest Guest
There will be plenty of openings when this becomes an all volunteer department.

Guest Guest
If that's what it takes to get this town in better fiscal shape, I'll be first in line. I'm certain, the line would be very long and we'll be turning people away. By far, one of the first cost cutting measures that would produce immediate savings. Any ideas on how to implement savings that would still allow us to keep the HFD. How about starting with freezes and cuts like any CEO would do of an inflated budget. Guest Guest
Wow the town has done it again making more promotions in the fire depatment. What is the ratio now of bosses to fireman? How did they get that by the "STATE AGAIN? or is the town really run by the state?

There is an established table of organization. The town has the right to hire, promote, transfer, or whatever, to maintain that table. Now you have the facts, so you can stop posting all your ignorant remarks.
