Now before you dismiss this as untrue, remember back to the many times you heard such things and thought that it was BS and then stood there with your jaw hanging down when those Fireman got those $18,000.00 raises to Captain. Get ready again. There is nothing you can do about it and nobody backing you up because of all the negative things you say about those in charge of that very decision. They already made everyone in the PD they care about. The rest are out of towners, which means very little in the voting department. But all is not lost. You still have a great Union President trying to get the FTO's (including himself) a small bump-up and someday when most of you retire at the same rank you were sworn in as, you can petition the town to put your name up on a street sign like at 4th and Harrison Avenue. That should make up for the tens or hundreds of thousands you lost for you and your family over 25 years of hard work, buying cocktail party tickets, back-stabbing each other, and kissing butt. It's gonna be a fat Thanksgiving celebration at the Firehouse, but if you beg nicely they can ship you over the leftovers for your dinner at work (probably eaten in the car) while everyone else in town is with their families. How could such a group of good guys screw things up so bad. Gobble, gobble, gobble........gotta go check on my new house thats being built. Guest Guest Posted June 30, 2004 Report Share Posted June 30, 2004 The PBA couldn't get anything from the Mayor and Council after they insulted them with the ticket blitz.Their leader, wirearms, led them down the path to destruction. If the guys were smart they would join the FOP and start anew because they haven't burnt their bridges. But, they ain't smart so don't count on them doing that. With leaders such as Frank Gineste, now risiding at Trenton State Priseon for stealing one million dollars from other Pea Brain Associates they have a history of corruption.
