Guest anonymoous Posted June 15, 2004 Report Share Posted June 15, 2004 what HAPPENED to the observer web site, is that the web master was FIRED by the greedy owners of the publication, because they felt the less than measley amount they paid him and ONLY him to maintain that whole site was just too much money. And since they felt they werent making money from the web site, they did away with it. Don't be fooled. The owners of The Observer don;t care about your community. The paper has become nothing but an advertising flier with a few stories sprinkled in. More local news could be printed if they'd get rid of the stupid editorials. What a waste of space and ink. Guest anonymous Posted June 19, 2004 Report Share Posted June 19, 2004 trust me, they are not rebuilding the site. at least not anytime in the near future. they were not making money off of it, and so to them it wasnt worth it. you want to read the observer? youll have to pick up a paper copy from now on. dont live in the area anymore? oh well, tough luck. pay for a subscription. the web page is finito.
