Guest Just me
A while back there was anarticle in the Observer about a child that molested another child the family had to move to an apartment they could not afford and the kid was put on probation and allowed back in school ...Is this child back in the school? And shouldn't he have to register under Megans Law. And I just heard there is an alligation that a teacher may have molested female students....and you people are upset because a teacher mentioned god....these are much bigger issues I hope you all look into this as much as you did for the Matt story. I'm so sick of hearing how Matt suffered emotionally over all of this what did he and his family expect....they made the bed now they have to lie in it. I guess all of this will be good experience for the acting that Matt wants to persue. If the alligations are false about the teacher then I will stand corrected. You get the jist of what they're saying, so don't try to change the subject. I completely agree with them. There's a lot more going on that some "omg i want an apology because my son is a wuss". How about the soldier who just died from kearny? Bet only a few people know about that because everyone is more interested in "God". How bout everyone hear shuts the hell up with it already. If this kid needs his parents to hold his hand forever then so be it.

Strife767
There's a lot more going on that some "omg i want an apology because my son is a wuss". In case you didn't realize, the last Board meeting had far more Mr. P. apologetics than any other group. So if you want to whine about a large group of people missing 'the big picture,' tell it to them. How about the soldier who just died from kearny? Okay, this I couldn't help but laugh at a bit, simply because...yes, I'm aware that the soldier died. But the soldier is dead...what exactly would you have people do? I dare say he wouldn't really notice whether or not people were paying attention to his corpse. Bet only a few people know about that because everyone is more interested in "God". How bout everyone hear shuts the hell up with it already. How about we talk about more important things like how everything is getting vandalized by wanna-be thugs who think this is Newark or how, as someone previously stated, kids are getting sexually assaulted but nothing is really being done. Pretty much, this has become a mockery and the LeClair's are sitting back waiting for more things to be said so they can turn it around and sue. The real joke here is that family. Strife767
You, sir, are an ass. This was uncalled for. Have a little respect. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What did I say that was disrespectful? Be specific. Seriously. What's disrespectful about stating the obvious? Obviously it's bad news when someone dies, but to suggest that we all should be paying attention to that event instead of the KHS one does lead me to ask--in which form would he suggest this "attention" should take? What would you like me to actually _do_ about that situation with the former Kearnian dying, that I am not doing? What CAN I do? P.S. Geez, these days just calling someone "dead" or referring to the dead body (accurately, I might add) as a "corpse" instead of saying they "passed on" or "passed away" gets everyone's panties in a twist. I don't like sugarcoating, and I don't like using soft language that avoids reality. If you do, then you are free to ignore my more-direct-than-most statments. It's not like I said "who cares" or something like that.

Poor choice of phrasing, Strife. I, and anyone willing to be honest with themselves, will recognize that what you're laughing at is the poster's apparent implication that one should expect this news to stir the same kind of ongoing debate as the Paszkiewicz business. But this will not prevent the lying bigots on this board from seizing this opportunity to accuse you of laughing at a soldier's death. Strife767
outspoken eh? He wears skirts to school. Talk about a non-sequitur. Your logic sounds something like this: "You say he's kind? But he ate waffles for breakfast!" He's nothing more than a confused boy. Confused? Do you have any idea _why_ he wore a skirt (not "skirts;" one skirt on one occasion) to school? It sounds like you're the one who's confused. He made a mockery of the idiotic rule that said shorts couldn't be worn when skirts could. I loved it--not only did he effectively ridicule a ridiculous policy, but he did it with a sense of humor. Everyone's is tired of hearing about it. We will all shut up as soon as the Board and Paszkiewicz fix their mistakes. They have been given plenty of chances and haven't done a thing. Every day this situation goes on is the fault of Paszkiewicz and the Board. It could end for good at any moment--they are the ones that choose to be stubborn. [snip]How about we talk about more important things like how everything is getting vandalized by wanna-be thugs who think this is Newark or how, as someone previously stated, kids are getting sexually assaulted but nothing is really being done. You are perfectly free to start topics on either or both of those subjects--no one is twisting your arm to continue to post on the LaClair issue, in case you haven't noticed. If you don't want to talk about it anymore, here's an idea: stop talking about it. Pretty much, this has become a mockery and the LeClair's are sitting back waiting for more things to be said so they can turn it around and sue. The real joke here is that family.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, I would say that I'm having a hard time deciding who's funnier: Paszkiewicz, or his lawyer. Both are amazingly confident in what is obviously a hopeless case. Mark my words: if Paszkiewicz goes to court, he will lose. With the recording(s) of 'the meeting' now out, he will have even MORE egg on his face, and be caught in more lies. Paszkiewicz is completely and utterly screwed--and it seems like he will cost the community who (mostly) so rabidly supports him a whole lot of money before he realizes it. I, and anyone willing to be honest with themselves, will recognize that what you're laughing at is the poster's apparent implication that one should expect this news to stir the same kind of ongoing debate as the Paszkiewicz business. Well, that's part of it. The other part is that there are certain events, like someone's death, that can only be reacted to up to a certain extent. There really isn't much that can be DONE about someone's death, after all. But this will not prevent the lying bigots on this board from seizing this opportunity to accuse you of laughing at a soldier's death. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As has happened several times in this thread already. I explained this several times already--instead of repeating myself, this time I'm just going to tell you to stop throwing around accusations like an idiot and look it up yourself. This community is important to me. It is through the Paszkiewicz issue that I became aware of this forum. I plan on staying after that's history too, because this is a good place to communicate regarding local stuff. You must be Kearny's (without the extra e) very own resident know-it-all. No, I mustn't. You're huge here on KOTW, smart retorts, knowledgeable content and lots of dramatic flair. (I particularly don't see the last part) I give what I get, and I am just as free to express my frustration at idiocy on this forum as people are to blatantly lie. To argue that the former is worse than the latter shows an astonishing, and unfair, bias against me. Heck you even comment on the disabled right-click function here. Alright, braniac, where _should_ I comment on the right-click script? I would think posting about it on the website where it exists would make some sense. So as I stated before I figure you to have 0 social interactions outside this forum (that's if you consider this to be one). 1. You don't consider a public forum where people are expressing themselves back and forth to be a social interaction? 2. Actually, just last night I was out and about, enjoying myself until about 1am. Your idiotic 'figurings' just make you look like a condescending buffoon who think's he's got people he's never even met before all figured out. Keep your baseless, D**bA** assumptions to yourself, okay?

The point the person was trying to make is that not one person on here had previously acknowledged this young man's death because the Dave P./LaClair issue has over run the board and it is time to pay attention to other issues. I realize that this is a death from a local family and that Kearny seems to /very patriotic/ and full of veterans, but really what is the real difference in the end between one of many soldiers who is dead, a deceased family member, or even you when you pass on one day. What was that scripture about the dead being conscious of nothing at all? They are now a corpse - a dead soul. Nothing can be done for them now. As sad as it may be, while remembering the deceased, it's good to focus on those still living.
