It's very simple to grab a broom sweep our sidewalks, what's even simpler is getting clear plastic bags and putting our recyclables in the bags , in the proper recyclable  cans, so that the lighter recyclables will not blow out the cans into the curb into the street. Doing this will be thanking the DPW and also having a sense of pride in our little town of East Newark . Happy memorial Day weekend.

Happy Fourth of July, no Garbage pick up today, but idiots still put out their trash to the curb. Most bags in cans  though, Some bags on the ground ghetto style. Let's try and have a little more class people. It's up to us to teach the new arrivals how to live a sanitary life. Wednesday is debris pickup day, Would be nice to see more people trimming the weeds in front of their houses, Happy Fourth.

Let this act as a major update, whoever East Newark has contracted to pick up the recyclables must be the same company that Harrison did as well. Over the last 3 weeks when I come home from work there's cardboard and recyclable containers strewn about the sidewalks and in the curbs. How is district supposed to maintain a decency like this. Walking up Grant avenue towards Central searing Ave same way ,Mulock  the same way.
