Guest David Gurney
There are now 4 handicapped parking spaces within 100 yards on John Street between Hamilton and William Street.I understand people's fear of nursing homes, but this is getting out of hand. Why don't we have senior parking for 70 years and up? Guest Get a life
Look up the Town Ordinance 4 per block. Hope you never need one.
Guest David Gurney
I paid dearly for those excessive handicapped spots,a $55 ticket last Tuesday for parking in the commercial zone under 280.That's why senior parking is needed, along with 24 hour surveillance to keep these out of towners from staying here overnight and on the weekends. Guest David Gurney
Usain Bolt retired early after seeing those people with the handicapped plates emerge from their cars.
Guest David Gurney
Evidently, the Town Ordinance has changed. There are now 5 in that same 100 yards, likely closer to 60. My plan is simple to free up parking spaces:Require all who park overnight in town to get a parking pass.Such passes would be limited to citizens or those with green cards.Fingerprinting is another possible option. Guest Limit resident stickers.
Are the Harrison resident parking stickers truly regulated and if so what are the requirements? Is there a limit put on sticker amounts per household? Does the parking enforcement officers actually know about the stickers? Is there a limit on the stickers as per person per car meaning is someone with three or four cars registered under the same name which would be unfair obviously. By the way there's a huge parking lot under 280 which is under surveillance only a block away from John Street and Hamilton.
Guest Guest
Stop complaining! Mayors Fife and Doran have given you permission and the privilege of being allowed to live in the perfect Town of Harrison. You have low taxes, the finest educational system in the U.S., one of the highest paid fire departments in NJ. stocked with overworked brave heroes, town workers busting their butts for low salaries, clean streets and ample parking for all. Accept the asylum seekers with open arms and donate 15% of your salary to them. Be grateful.
