Across the board layoffs are possible in Kearny due to this Virus and it could effect every town, school, and county employee. shortfalls in revenue will force Town and School officials to cut there costs lets hope this is not the case. No one is exempt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mayor Santos doesn't need to fire anyone.  He can lay them off and they can collect unemployment and the extra $600 and they will make more than they are making now.  It's a perfect solution to save money.  If he does based on skill, the Town can still function.  Right now they aren't even collecting taxes in person so why do we need these workers on the payroll.  Perfect temporary solution.

The storm is coming and this Mayor is finally faced with hard choices layoffs are coming there is no getting around it and it will happen in all phases School, Municipal, County, and State across the board cuts will happen.
