Guest Guest
https://www.nj.com/hudson/2019/03/only-in-hudson-county-2-school-superintendents-getting-paid-200k-to-sit-at-home.html The story, link above, covers the Hudson County Technology School and Jersey City but on par, and illegally, Councilman James Doran, whose title was Superintendent of Schools, had Mayor James Fife get his appointed Board of Education members at a meeting hire his as Director of Personnel, a job that didn't exist on the table of organization until it was invented out of thin air, and appointed Councilman Doran at a salary increase several months later. The school district then had to hire a Superintendent of Schools who basically has a no-show job because the former Superintendent Councilman Doran is running the show and making all the decisions. The State of New Jersey audited but didn't take anyone out in handcuffs. What a joke Hudson County is and the State of New Jersey is to allow this corruption to continue. Guest Guest
A new law proposed to be signed by Governor Murphy into law will let our leader Doctor James "Jimmie" Doran take back is titulo of Superintendent. Quesas he could keep both salaries and do both jobs, Director of Personnel and Superintendent, since he is already doing that. Quesas Mayor F-i-f-e can give him Director of Personnel for the Town of Harrison. https://www.nj.com/politics/2019/06/nj-could-do-away-with-191584-limit-on-school-superintendent-salaries-its-now-up-to-murphy.html

Guest Resident Guest
Educate yourselves with public salaries, it’s an eye opener. What is interesting and a bit pathetic, are the minimal salaries earned by people who behaved poorly and bullied anyone with a different opinion last year during election time. Their salaries are a drop in the bucket compared to those they protected. Is a town job and barely $40k worth it? http://php.app.com/agent/publicemployees/search

Guest Guest
Another one Joan Woods $153,043 Wow. She makes as much as the Police Chief. Why? She is a secretary for the Mayor. Totally too much for what she does

Guest Bob
No wonder my landlord raised my rent saying that taxes keep going up. A secretary making 153K is crazy.
