Guest Phil McKracken

So we have a parking Attendant at $66000.00 ( He must be standing in Cifelli's parking lot somewhere) A parking enforcement officer for $66000.00 and a Supervising Parking enforcement officer at 84,000.00 What are they enforcing? Dont we have cops for enforcement? Even so, how does a supervising PARKING enforcemet officer make more salary than a supervising Captain in the Police Department? Not to mention a PART Time plumber makes more salary than a starting FULL TIME Police officer willing to lay down his life to feed his family and protect the citizens of Harrison. Police officer 27,500, Part time plumber 28,744)

I don't have to agree with this Mayor, thats POLOTICS; BUT I DEFINATELY DON'T RESPECT HIM.. That's a shame, I don't think many people do, except for those who feel they owe him because they work for the town, but honestly I don't know how anyone can..I bet more then half these people are list 2-3 times..

where is it stated that these are the actually salaries of the town employees? I didn't know the town employeed half of those positions.

Guess How many of these jobs are held by the same person..

1 employee multiple salaries????

How many of these positions are no-show jobs???

I lived here my whole life and I still can't tell where some of these jobs are??

But I still can't figure out the parking enforcement jobs???????

SOMEBODY BETTER CALL THE ATTORNEY GENERAL WITH THESE SALARIES AND NO-SHOW JOBS...............................................

Guest 1 job 2 salaries

Not too long ago I remember a certain individual (BT) was busting for collecting two paychecks - he still has his job and thanks to the Harrison taxpayers he now has a lovely home down the shore where he can retreat to

I guess looking at some of those job titles I can see why the town is a distressed city, and gets state aid. We also have a certain councilman (DK) who is telling cops that they are getting laid off. Didn't the mayor and council just appoint 4 new cops at the last meeting?????????

Does that mean they are UNAPPOINTED???????????????????

Public agencies include:

All departments and agencies of state government, including state colleges and universities;

All counties, municipalities, school districts, fire districts, county and municipal boards, commissions, agencies, and independent authorities; and

The state's legislature and its agencies, except that most constituent correspondence and special materials prepared for individual legislators are not covered.

OPRA does not cover the state's judicial branch and municipal courts , which have their own rules.

A record held by a public agency has a "government purpose" when it has been "made, maintained, kept on file, or received in the course of official business."

What records are accessible to the public?

Generally, all government records are accessible to the public except those that fall under the exceptions to public access set forth in OPRA. Examples of public records that are accessible to the public include minutes of regular public meetings, budgets, bills, vouchers, and contracts, including collective bargaining agreements, individual employment contracts, and public employee salary and overtime information.

Whom do I contact to obtain records from public agencies?

Under OPRA, citizens who want to obtain public records should contact the "custodian of records" of the public agency that holds the records they want. At the municipal level, that person will be the municipal clerk; at other public agencies, that person will be an official designated by the particular agency or governmental unit
