Guest Angry Parent Posted November 9, 2018 Report Share Posted November 9, 2018 The KEA is taking it out on our kids again!!!!! First, the Kearny teachers refused to show up for parents night. Now, they refused to fully participate with the Halloween festivities. It’s a shame that the KEA instructed their membership to take down Halloween decorations in their classrooms and not wear costumes with the children. I’m waiting to see how they handle Christmas. I predict a big Bah Humbug is coming. A Kearny teacher recently stated at a BOE meeting, “We don’t want to give up back to school night. We deserve respect to bring our passion back.” I guess because the KEA is angry at the status of negotiations with the BOE they feel that somehow our children are responsible and that using them as bargaining chips is ok. “No contract, still working, always caring." It’s all Bu!!$h1t. Using our children as leverage in a contract dispute: IT'S JUST WRONG!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
