The Muslim Americans should not have the burden of traveling to Newark to worship Allah. Public loudspeakers to announce the calls to pray would also be appreciated. The town could bond for $2 or $3 million to build the mosque and repay the money with a local sales tax combined with a property tax increase. It's time that Harrison moves forward as a Democratic stronghold instead of being stagnant. The Muslim community votes count and should not be taken for granted. There is a community already in Harrison and they are a positive addition to the community. They do Vote and participate in the Democratic process.
