Guest Reginald Jackson
The residents of Kearny must support a Thanksgiving dinner (free) and toy drive for African American and Undocumented families and children this holiday season. There are an increasing number of AA and undocumented residents moving into Kearny that must be shown that they are welcome and encouraged to invite other AA and undocumented people to move into Kearny. Progressive values are lacking in West Hudson and a greater share of tax money and altruistic giving of cash and gifts to these people must increase. I suggest the Kearny Fire Department enlist the AA Firefighter to ride on the engine as Santa Claus along with an undocumented Santa Claus around Christmas time. The Kearny council members can hire Hispanic groups to sing Christmas carols door to door at $15/hour per vocalist. A minimum of $10,000 from the municipal budget should be allocated for this new Kearny holiday tradition. Public assistance like section 8 and EBT food assistance only go so far. Residents fortunate enough to have jobs should throw in a $50 or $100 donation. Please contact the Mayor and council to voice your support. BlackLivesMatter & UndocumentedLivesMatter. Happy holidays!
