Guest guest
As reported on NJ.com 1/29 it appears East Newark kids will go to KHS. The word is out about the rampant corruption in the HBOE.In terms of the harm to the education of the kids one of the worst school corruption cases in state history happened in Harrison.A principal forged a teachers signature and shook her down for political tickets. There were teachers teaching a subject they weren't certified to teach and there was an illegal secret BOE meeting which both Fife and ***** attended. Because of corruption middle school students didn't learn anything in ******* for almost half a school year. Bravo to the wise voters in East Newark. Who knows maybe now that people know the home values in Harrison will go down. elections have consequences when you elect someone like Fife who was in the middle of the HBOE corruption then you must deal with the consequences. Harrison should cancel all other services that it provides for EN such as dispatching, ambulance, sewer and water, street cleaning, and backing up EN undermanned police dept. There is really no reason for it to continues as a Town. It should merge with Harrison or Kearny.
Guest Guest
What about the sports programs for kids? Will they play Kearny Little League, Pop Warner, etc? I hope so. If they want to go to Kearny, they should go all-in.
