Regina Murray Lynskey, age 77, of the Glen Wild Lake section in Bloomingdale died Sunday, March 9, 2014. Ms. Lynskey was born in Newark, NJ the daughter of the late John Curtis and the late Margaret (Murray) Lynskey. She was an English Teacher at Harrison High School, Harrison, NJ for many years before retiring, a parishioner of St. Anthony RC Church in Butler, NJ and her great sense of humor will be missed by her family and friends. Regina is survived by her loving sister, Kathryn Conroy and a dear friend, Gertrude M Clark, PhD. She was pre deceased by her beloved brother in law, Dr. William J. Conroy. A Memorial Mass will be offered at a later date. All other services will be private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Morrison Funeral Home, Butler, NJ.

I didn't know Ms. Lynskey. May she rest in peace.

I'm just hoping she wasn't the English teacher for most of the illiterates who post here on this Board.

Mrs. Lynskey was a great English teacher. She taught not only at Harrison High School but at Washington Middle School.

Did she make her students write a composition if they improperly used the word "like",as did Richard Rocchio,freshman English teacher in 1964?
