Don't YOU want to know if things like this are happening?? _____________ HARRISON- Police are searching for a man they say tried to robbed a woman at her Hamilton Street apartment on Thursday night, police said. The woman told police that around 7 p.m. a stranger rang the doorbell of her Hamilton Street apartment near 3rd Street and began knocking on her front door, police said. When the woman opened the door to see who it was, the man forced his way inside, pushing the woman out the way, police said. The man tried to steal the woman's TV but because the woman kept screaming, he fled the apartment empty-handed, police said. Police are searching for a man in his early-40s, about 5-foot-6, with a medium build, police said. The man has short black hair, a goatee, and wore glasses.
