Let the state take over school district

Since the BOE seems to be in a political battle with who will have control of the board. None of the fights benefit our kids. It's time for the state to take control of the district. This same game was played in Jersey city. The state came in and took control.

Time for the BOE to play nice with each other. Otherwise the people of Kearny will take their toys away. BOE start doing your job. Start caring about our kids. Put your own interest to rest. Let's not continue to make Kearny the joke of Hudson County.

The next BOE Election is coming soon. What story is going to be told to the voters?

You are almost correct with what you say. The BOE is not in a political battle, 4 BOE members in the "minority" are and always have been. The 5 people that the minority faction and their entitlement followers bash over and over are doing this because the 5 have not and would not let politics be a part of the BOE anymore and they don't like it.

As far as you state "BOE start doing your job", 5 members of the BOE have been doing their job, caring about kids and with none of their own interests in mind, all the time, countless hours, tireless meetings and interviews, but that all doesn't matter because a group of people loyal to the entitlement program want them gone, not because they are not doing their job but because things are not going their way........the way they're use to.

So obviously doing what is right and with the kids and taxpayers in mind first and foremost, does not matter in Kearny. I believe the only way is for a State takeover, get everyone replaced and than let's here the babies cry foul then !!!!!

So what they did right for the kids was what? Firing two administrators who were widely respected and doing a good job. Firing a assistant plant manager and then caving to outside pressure and giving him his job back. Immediately hiring a qualified replacement for the wrongfully terminated high school principal nope that didn't happen. No they just exposed the town taxpayers to a huge lawsuit for the dismissals of qualified recommended administrators. Oh I know what they did when they are threatening cuts in teaching staff,programs and student aides they hired two that's right two varsity hockey coaches wonder who wanted that one,yea cut programs but hire helpers for the kings pet project. They have done nothing for the children of this town. All they have done is push forward a petty vindictive agenda persecuting anyone they believe might've had something to do with a former superintendent who by the way I wasn't a big fan of. I supported most of the majority when they were running but they have lost their way and the support of this town. Lowerys Lindenfelsors and Dorans election speaks to that loss of support!

And now the cherry on top. Hiring a superintendent with no educational background and whatever credentials he has are curiously sketchy. Another home run for the "boys" but it looks like 3 strikes for the district. Any credibility they once came to the board with is GONE and any public interaction is non-existent. None of them ever speaks up to defend their actions, they just hide behind their attorney who, at this point, has way too much to say when he's shutting down public discussion. Disgraceful, absolutely disgraceful.
