Guest Fact checker
Dear moderator in a thread concerning candidate Lowry you stated you allowed unproven allegations regarding Mrs. Lowry because she is a candidate for the upcoming B.O.E. election. I just wanted to know does that mean you will allow all unsubstantiated allegations that are posted concerning or accusing any candidates unethical, immoral or otherwise bad behavior? Or is this a guideline only imposed on certain candidates? Inquiring minds want to know.
KOTW
Generally If its a political candidate or elected official, KOTW will publish information that is unconfirmed so long as it doesn't cross the line and/or involve very personal matters which we deem inappropriate for the website. This would be OK if the source was known. It's not OK to do it when the source is anonymous. Anyone can say anything because no one is identified. Guest Hey what about...
If ethics is the topic, how come nobody has bothered to mention the fact that candidate Cambell was CONVICTED of an ethics violation against a school employee? Also, pending ******* case against him. Edited October 26, 2012 by KOTW Content.

Guest Daniel Webster
It's=it is Its = its KOTW Its denotes ownership. It is not a contraction for it is, so it was used incorrectly in the original post by KOTW. Not a big deal, just pointing out the difference.
