Guest Mr Fairness.
It's no secret that there are families and individuals presently living in the Harrison gardens that should not be living there. The gardens were set up to house Senior citizens, disabled people and very low income families.. But we all know that there are families and certain individuals living there that are taking advantage. There are Senior citizens and poor families that need those apartments. A yearly financial audit should be done on all residents.
Guest Mr Fairness
Oh, come on , no one else has an opinion about the Gardens? No one out there knows a senior citixzen that they could see living there, But there are a few cronies living there driving 2 cars each. No one knows a deserving family that has fallen on hard times that could use the help? Speak up people.

Guest Guest
There are residents that have been in the gardens for 25 plus years. Not fair to the rest of the population that may need a low rent place to get back on their feet. There should be a limit on how long you can live there it was never designed for lifelong moochers,in fact it was built for veterans and recently there was a veteran on here asking about getting in. Meanwhile, they head to the casinos, Disney, Poconos and then post their travels on Facebook while complaining that they can't afford medical care, etc.. Their major disease is laziness and lack of pride.

Let your friends that have overstayed their welcome know that, Public pressure will soon force another evaluation with a stricter code enforced. That veteran will soon have an apartment to live in.Those families in need of a low cost place to get back on their feet will soon be there. People who can afford to rent else where are encouraged to start looking now.

Guest Guest
Wow. The natives in Harrison are getting restless. Although the gardens has turned into a bit of a subsidized ghetto with some of the riff raff living there.
Guest guesttt
1) EVERY year the tenants have to show proof of income .. including child support, ssi, etc ... their rent gets based off of that .. some people can't get another job to make more money if they're single parents and have to be there for their children .. and some people just don't "qualify" for most jobs.. stop complaining and seriously .. GET THHE FCUK OVER YOURSELF ! I have NEVER been on this website until today, but it disgusts me to see all the sh!ttalking going on .. mind your own business and do what you got to do instead of trying to ruin other peoples lives when it clearly has nothing to do with you.. Guest Alvin
It's cool to see that the residents of the Gardens have groupies. Have you morons no better things to do than intrude on the personal lives of others? Look into the mirror that you probably use to do lines off of and the real problem will reveal itself. Guest plain jane
well maybe these people should dedicate their time improving themselves advancing in life. Instead of settling for anything they can. It's pathetic to see.

Guest failed drug tests...
i think the gardens residents should all be required to be randomly drug tested (mandatory twice per year)
Guest guest
the gardens is owned by HUD, asshole. everyone on here talking sh!t are just the jealous ones who can't get into the gardens. so what better way than taking their anger out behind a computer with a fake name and all. pathetic! I do agree with the drug testing though, as I ,myself am 100% against drugs!
Guest Elmo
I think the residents of the Gardens should be drug tested just as much as the moochers of the Fire Dept. It costs the town "0" to have someone live in the Gardens because it's Federal money. The current Firemen, with salaries, vacation days, sick, medical benefits, and pension contributions cost the taxpayers of Harrison over $300,000.00 a year each. Getting rid of the Firemen and leaving the residents of the Gardens in peace would be more appropriate.
Guest Six pack jack
First Growing up in the Gardens was great w didn't have alot of money, but we had each other. Times change people change but everyone needs to stop putting peoples faults and mistakes on here. i know people that pay alot of rent to live in the gardens and alot that pay alittle. Until u walk in there shoes you should not judge them! we were poor growing up so when i moved out of the gardens and seen how people who had good jobs struggled to make ends meat. where would some of these people be if the gardens wasn't there to help and support single mother and familys that stuggle to get by.do you want to see those family's put on the street do you have the nerve to tell the yo must leave because you feel like you are better than them, because you were blessed with the perfect life. The gardens made me who I am. and also taught me the value of friends, neighbors, helping other's that are not as lucky.I wasn't only raised by my mother i was raised by my friends mother's and people who cared enough to tell you when you were wrong and showed you the right way of doing things. so yes there are some people that dont belong there but there is nothing you can do about that. Just don't put the people that need the gardens with the one's that abuse it.

We pay for your lame asses to live on OUR property sometimes for generations. Get some pride and rent a real apartment - it will increase your self esteem. Just don't put the people that need the gardens with the one's that abuse it. Ancient history, Don't give us your boo hoo story to try and cover a wrong.,The wrong that is going on is a matter of knowing when the time to leave is right. The people in question know they can do better for themselves, but selfishly choose to remain in the Gardens in their comfy position. And for people paying a lot for rent is an entirely different matter. Would it be feasible to evict everyone making more than a certain amount, Yes, Morally, Yes, Ethically, Yes. People making more than a given amount should feel shame to live in the Gardens Shame that others in less fortunate financial situations could be making ends meet. Jack it seems that, yes you were educated in Harrison. Just like the town politicians you like to divert the real attention away from the problem .And end up monologuing about the past instead of seeing the flaws that need fixing in the future. Jack, there came a point in life where you had enough resources to leave the Gardens, Right?. There are families living there that have resources that well exceed leaving the Gardens and living in regular apartments. They choose to stay there and take advantage of the situation. Jack , you have won because you chose to.There are people that need those apartments more than the people taking advantage. They choose to lose on purpose. It's as simple as that. cruel as it may sound ,It's true. Let's see if any of the honest people of the Gardens will admit to being over the poverty line, Let's see who will admit to having a large bank account, And last but most importantly , Let's see who admits to the shame of depriving needy families the apartments they deserve. This should be good, all of the above mentioned residents, cowering like a dog with it's tail between it's legs protecting it's balls. Guest Accountant
Let's start making identities partially known. I'll start this . I know of a highly paid school teacher/ counselor who can afford to live else where. Who do you know, no naming names , just describe the people and the reason why you feel they are taking advantage. Guest Big Willie
We really do care, we care about the REAL DESERVING FAMILIES in town, We don't care about drunk white trash families that deserve nothing but eviction papers. Your time is almost up, start packing, even if it takes all day. Investigators are coming up from Trenton, just ask your friends in the town hall. Your drunken pot smoking nickelback parties are almost over. Hey the Kearny Indian gardens will love to have you there. Just leave your bed bugs and roaches. Please.
