Why isn't Al Sharpton marching in Detroit calling for justice and demanding the police make arrests? Because Rev. Al is a race baiter that wouldn't get any news coverage from the liberal press that loves black / white issues. Liberal news outlets, nbc, cbs, abc, msnbc and cnn have been running the Zimmerman / Martin case constantly, inflaming the already heated rhetoric and playing into Rev. Al's agenda. Bill O'Reilly is the only news guy on TV calling for calm and calling on Sharpton to calm down. Hannity and O'Reilly are giving equal attention to defending Zimmerman. Are you somehow blind to that fact? Why aren't they out defending every black guy who doesn't get charged for killing an innocent black guy? Why aren't they out defending other white guys who kill innocent white guys? The miscarriage of justice that has taken place in Sanford County, FL, is the stuff of pre-1964. It's the kind of stuff that civil rights heroes like Ida B. Wells and Martin Luther King Jr. put their lives on the line to stop. Now it's 100 years since Ida's heyday, almost 50 years since the Civil Rights Act of 64, and we still haven't made any progress. Blacks are still being killed without justice being served to their slayers. If you want to fault a man for standing up against this gross injustice, you don't understand the struggle blacks have gone through and continue to go through.
