Guest 2smart4u
Campaigning in 2008, zerO said he supported the constitution and would never make appointments without subjecting them to congessional review. Of course that was just another lie from our Liar in Chief. Yesterday zerO appointed 3 more czars, bringing the total to 20. That's 20 people that will do zerO's bidding with no congressional oversight. So much for the constitution. The list of lies and broken promises from this fraud is endless. Nov. can't come soon enough.
Guest Gadfly
If he had appointed a czar you would have a point. He didn't. He did not create a new position, he made a recess appointment for a position that Republican filibuster has kept empty. Which is allowed by the Constitution. In fact, Reagan did it 240 times and the second Bush 170. Obama has used it a mere 28 times.

Article II, Sectin 2, Clause 3 of the United States Constitution: The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session. George W. Bush made 171 recess appointments during his presidency.
Guest ko
Why not go after Obama on a real issue? He signed the NDAA into law on New Year's Eve, and you're sitting here talking about czars. The reason: FUX News probably supports the new law which allows the president to detain whoever he wants for as long as he wants. You're an idiot. You might as well be an Obama Zombie. But you're worse than that. Go F**K yourself.

Guest Proud American
One small problem, the senate wasn't in recess. With only 2 out of 100 Senators in attendance and NO business? Most Americans call that a recess. I know the Republicans are now taking a page out of Democrat Senator Harry Reid's book by arguing that the Senate was in a "pro forma" session by having a Senator there. Really?? You're now using Harry Reid's tactics to make your argument?? Bottom line is that the Republicans want to kill the Consumer Finance Agency and the National Labor Relations Board and were refusing to hold votes on the president's nominees for those agencies for months. As the minority in the Senate, the Republicans don't have enough votes to reject a nominee but enough votes to filibuster and prevent action. That's supremely ironic. Republicans argued throughout the eight years of the Bush II presidency that every nominee should get an up or down vote. What goes around, comes around. Man up and deal with it.
