Guest Patriot
The debates last night confirmed that Gingrich will be the president in 48 weeks. Most clear thinking people understand we must derail the zerO train that's speeding toward Greece with it's nanny state, cradle to grave socialism. Gingrich has the decades of experience and accomplishments to embarrass zerO in the debates and it will be painful for the zerO zOmbies to watch this coming bloodbath. Guest ko
Gingrich is a lobbyist. If you really think a lobbyist can win an election next year, you're crazy.

What the debate proved is what we already knew. Gingrich is a loose cannon who lacks the temperament to be President, as we learned years ago when he threw a temper tantrum because Clinton wouldn't let him sit in the front on Air Force One. The President can't shoot his mouth off saying that the Palestinians are an invented people. He just threw fire on an already incendiary situation. That's just the first time he has put his foot in his mouth since becoming the Republican front runner after all the other candidacies flopped. He'll do it again before long. He always has. The Republican field is pathetic. Gingrich is a retread with a bad temper and an uncontrollable narcissistic streak. He stopped being taken seriously long ago. Republicans are desperate for a candidate and everyone else has flopped, so they've turned to Newt. Just like they turned to Palin, then Perry, then Cain. It won't last. And they can't stand Romney, so you guys have a problem. You should read what conservative columnist David Brooks has to say about Newt's latest "performance." If the Republicans nominate him, they'll do themselves lasting damage. So go ahead. Make my day. Who else have you got?

Except we don't have nanny state, cradle to grave socialism. We have a capitalist system that has run amok with irresponsible speculation and consolidations of power in the hands of a few, who then rewrite the laws to their ends. We have more socialism for the rich than for ordinary people. Greece is much farther to the right than other European countries, like Sweden, which are doing very well. Expenditures on social services is not its problem, as this graph clearly shows. The facts do not support the right wing fantasy. If the history professor gets the Republican nomination, President Obama will give him a few history lessons. He'll remind him how Theodore Roosevelt reined in corporate abuse and laid the groundwork for an era of prosperity; how a speculative boom drove a paper prosperity in the 1920s but created a collapse in 1929; how Franklin Roosevelt then saved capitalism with reasonable regulation and programs aimed at creating a strong middle class; and how the United States prospered for more than a generation after that as a result of having a strong middle class. Then he'll point out the facts about the rise in income inequality since the early 1980s, and how the numbers are very similar to those of the late 1920s. He'll demonstrate that a country cannot remain strong on paper alone and that sound policies of research and promotion of emerging sectors are necessary to a prosperous modern economy. The history professor will find out that there are many things he didn't learn. Name one country that prospers with excessive income inequality or without a strong and prosperous middle class. Your model doesn't work. It's a fantasy. So stop saying it. We can't revive our economy from a fantasy.

Have you ever read a thread I started that had anything to do with Kearny? I troll the boards hoping to get a response - it's the only human interaction I get. One problem though, it's all nonsense. You apparently aren't watching the polls. zerO is losing ground among all groups, Independents, college students, white middle class, hispanics and even blacks. Black unemployment is almost 20% and seeing the zerO family fly on AF One around the world on vacations doesn't help him with his homeboys. You can keep telling yourself it's all Bush's fault and zerO's doing a good job but very few people are buying that any more. The reality is this: 4 more years of zerO will bankrupt the USA and most people understand this. Three years of this socialism experiment, otherwise known as the zerO administration has been a total failure. In 47 weeks we'll have a new president. What's "going on" is an economy in Kearny on the skids because of Obama. But I guess you didn't know that.

You're right about PatRat's incessant rants but if you want to discuss what's going on in Kearny, open a topic.

Last presidential election you predicted a Hillary-McCain election with McCain winning. With those incredible skills, you should spend much more money on the lottery, predicting winning numbers. Guest Guest
Based on Gingrich's debate performance!!?? He's debating Larry, Moe, Curly, Dopey, Sleepy and Huntsman. Wouldn't even be a challenge for Witch O'Donnell to look smart with this gang.

Guest humble observator
Gingrich this week acknowledged that he has contributed some of his own money to his flagging presidential campaign, which he says is "slightly less than" $4.5 million in debt. The former House speaker's campaign bounced a check to get on the Utah ballot and a think tank founded by Gingrich filed for bankruptcy and is liquidating its assets. http://content.usato.../1#.T4j2GKtDN8E
