Guest 2smart4u
There's a movement among some Dems to name the Ice Queen Hilliary as the Dem. candidate for president, dumping zerO. It makes sense, Hilliary is popular, more popular than zerO and doesn't carry all zerO's baggage of failures and broken promises. Of course I prefer they keep zerO, so I can watch zerO eaten and spit out by Gingrich in the debates.

Maybe President Giuliani can moderate. What do you do, bring out your other screen name for the holidays?

Let me count the ways: The same Newt Gingrich who took $1.8 million from Freddie Mac to lobby on their behalf so they could continue to finance billions in risky mortgage loans which then set off the worst recession since the Great Depression. (It's preposterous for him to say that he took their money to give them "history" lessons.) The same Newt Gingrich that did an advertisement with Nancy Pelosi on climate change. The same Newt Gincrich who supported individual mandates on health care in the 1990s and in a television interview earlier this year. The same Newt Gingrich who support the bank bailout of TARP. The same Newt Gingrich who voted to impeach President Clinton while involved in an adulterous relationship and while his then wife was fighting cancer. As an Obama supporter, I very much want Gingrich to be the nominee.

You actually think the serial cheater and amnesty for illegal immigrants proponent is going to win the best of the seven dwarves contest? Fox nailed it this AM calling him a "disgusting fat pig" but hey it's all you got.

I guess you realized how undefendable Gingrich's record is, so you now say you're against him. Pretty sad if you ask me. Anyhows, do praytell, which Republican candidate are you supporting and why? Overlooking a candidates baggage from the distant past to save america is an easy choice. I have to laugh at the hypocrisy of the loony left. Clinton sodomizes an intern in the white house and lies about it under oath to congress and the loonys adore him. Whatever baggage Gingrich has pales in comparison to Clinton's history of raping women as a governor and president. But of course I understand that with the hypocrisy comes selective memory. I'm more interested in who will do the better job for our country. We tried Bush's way and it nearly ruined the country. The Republicans want to do it all over again. They're even more radical than they were under Bush. We'd have to be crazy to go back to them, no matter who is sodomizing whom. And Clinton isn't running. Obama doesn't have a hint of personal scandal anywhere. So if that's the test, you lose.

What a cop out. You don't answer the question. Tell us, Patriot, which of the Republican eight candidates are you supporting? Let's fill in the blank and begin the comparisons with Obama instead of the name calling that you insist on doing. Why attack Bill Clinton when the discussion is President Obama versus one of the Republican eight candidates? Oh wait, that's a classic Patriot tactic on this board -- he attacks when he can't defend. Patriot, how do you explain the following?: Newt Gingrich receiving $1.8 million from Freddie Mac to lobby on their behalf so they could continue to finance billions in risky mortgage loans which then set off the worst recession since the Great Depression. Polls show Obama ten points ahead of Gingrich. That's amazing considering Obama's overall negatives. And, dude, you are wallowing in hypocrisy. From someone who thinks Solyndra is a scandal, it's stunning that you think Gingrich getting 1.8 million from Freddie Mac or Gingrich supporting an indivdual health care mandate (the crux of Obama's health care reform and the bane of conservatives)is just MINUTIA. If ever there was a Hindenburg candidate in modern politics, I think Gingrich will be the one. Patriot, are you hopping on board?

The polls are telling us that the people are open to another President to replace Obama. They don't see Gingrich as filling that role. If he's such a great candidate, why did it take the collapse of all the other candidacies for you guys to figure out how brilliant he supposedly is? Can't answer that, can you. Here are the facts. You Republicans don't have a credible alternative. A couple years ago, Palin was your savior. A couple months ago, it was Perry. Then it was Cain. They've all bitten the dust. Huntsman is a responsible candidate but he's too reasonable for the Republican party. You can't stand Romney, and I can understand why. As for Gingrich, the American people are not going to elect an unstable serial adulterer who has already proved that he doesn't have the temperament to be President. Hey, I have an idea. I saw Mitt Romney wanting to make a $10,000 bet with Perry, Romney calling Gingrich a "bomb thrower" and Newt Gingrich rationalizing the $1.8 million he got from Freddie Mac with, "I was in the private sector." The Republican audience's groan at Gingrich's rationalization tells you how unbelievable that was. Patriot, where was Mr. Generic hiding on Saturday night?
