Guest downwithfedres Posted November 8, 2011 Report Share Posted November 8, 2011 A year ago,I made a prediction that Verizon would never come to John Street,being kept out of the area because of certain honorariums given to town officials by Comcast to keep Verizon out of here and other areas of town. At the time,I was pilloried by the big mouths here who proclaimed that Verizon was being put up all over town and that my assertions were groundless. Today,it'll be easier to see the asteroid whizzing by the planet,than to see a Verizon truck on John Street. Next year at this time-when Obama will be on his way back to Indonesia,the country of which he is a citizen-,the situation will be the same.
