Guest Guest Posted October 26, 2011 Report Share Posted October 26, 2011 It sure is an ominous sign of impending doom when firemen from a town that couldn't bond for a wooden nickel are trying to interview at other fire departments in New Jersey. It's not healthy to keep that outward confident appearance when you're crying on the inside. Remember, shhhh...that other town may only be interested in 1 guy. Guest Guest Posted October 27, 2011 Report Share Posted October 27, 2011 If any city was hiring and I doubt that, they would look for an experienced firefighter and not one who has not yet been tested since the academy. It's amazing that a town that has close to the least fires in NJ has about the highest paid firemen in NJ.
