What is going on with the repairs to the bridge? This work was started in April and now half of August is over. No vehicles use this span, only pedestrians. The bridge was very well built when first constructed and it seems an exorbitant amount of money is being spent for so-called "repairs".

repairs are all done via grants and not 'out of pocket' funds.

And where do Grants come from? Answer: Tax payer Dollars . Think before you post

You must be one of the Elected Officials that just says and does what they are told. THINK FOR YOURSELF

Grants are funds made available for spending. If the Town does not apply for that money, it WILL go to someone else. They have been appropriated to spend. I would rather have the officials do their research and sniff out any grants that may be available that we could use instead of having another town beat us to it. Please educate yourself a little more before blindly posting on here. It's the negative, ill-informed comments that spread w/ gossip and lead to biased views on the current government. More is won is unity then segregation... think about it.
