Guest hockeynut Posted May 21, 2011 Report Share Posted May 21, 2011 Soon to be town employees should consider COBRA health insurance.The town has to pay 65% of your premium for between 9 and 15 months and you more or less keep the same plan you now have.Send a certified letter to the town clerk stating you wish to continue your health insurance through COBRA. I don't know if they will be accepted because between now and the 4th of July there will probably be mass injuries to stay on the payroll as long as possible..
