Guest Council Person Posted February 6, 2011 Report Share Posted February 6, 2011 An article in the Star-Ledger this morning concerns Somerset County considering a consolidation of all 19 police depts. in the county. I'm hoping Harrison, Kearny and E. Newark take a serious look at this. There's no reason Kearny couldn't annex Harrison and E. Newark into their police function. It would be a money maker all around. They can also consolidate all of the Mayors and councils riding on a bus to work as PVSC at the same to save gasoline . I doubt any politician posted this, its probably one of the glorified ambulance drivers, but the Star Ledger is not the Hudson County Prosecutors Office, so don't get too confident yet.
