One small problem however, we're broke. Not to worry though, the Chinese would love own more of the USA, and apparently zer0 is more than willing to sell it to them.

According to all the surveys, 85 to 92 percent of Americans liked his address. That would all but the far right nutcake fringe, of which you obviously are a part.

If you had actually listened to him, you might have understood what he really said. He talked about the changes we have to make to have a sound and sustainable future and on most points, both Republicans and Democrats applauded and often stood to applaud.

He's been in Congress 20 years and has voted for how many spending bills and now wants us to believe he woke up one morning and discovered we're broke?! He is one your "patriots" that broke us.

Luckily, Zero, the Dems and some Tea Party members are going to cut off the biggest sieve this country has: THE U.S. MILITARY. The reason we're so deep in a hole is years and years the excessive military budget, the debacles of the Bush administration and the costs of two unnecessary wars. The U.S. needs to forge on and catch up with expanding regimes throughout the world. The way to do that is not to take huge steps backward and choke the public sector, destroy vital services and put the dreams of American Heroes like Dwight Eisenhower and FDR behind us.

Thank goodness you weren't president after World War II. You can have your amphibious-aerodynamic tank if you want, but I want my kids to go to great public schools and live in a country that INVENTS, PRODUCES and COMPETES! The U.S. military is still the best in the world, and it needs to exist to protect us. However, it needs to be employed with responsibility and not with blatant disregard for those who serve within it. Besides, if your ideas are put to work, the United States Military will cease to have anything to defend. What will America be under your regime? A place with no education, no jobs, no roads, no public education, no healthcare, no regard for its citizens; a place where people are left to fend for themselves; you're probably against religious freedom, too (I can only assume from your previous posts), so we won' even be defending the first thing people came to this continent for.

Have it your way, though, Patriot. But before you do that, why don't you take a look at your plan in action right now: take a look at Ireland.

What do you think about the Republican House endorsing a bill that allows States to file for bankruptcy? That would allow States to get out of their pension obligations owed to police and fire personnel, like you. Is that patriotic? Do you feel good being part of that Republican group?
