The German president has invited Obama to come to Germany next Monday to help celebrate the 20th

anniversity of the tearing down the Berlin Wall, certainly one of the greatest events in European history.

The Anointed One's response? Can't make it. I think he has golf scheduled, or maybe B-ball.

One of our best allies, Germany is supporting us in Afghanistan and Iraq and Obama is busy.

FOX will be watching the white house on monday to see what was so important to justify dissing a major ally.

I'm no fan of Obama, but I would snub them too. The Europeans are friends of convenience and they never take a stand, just talk, talk, talk. It's long past the time when they should stand up for what's right, not wait for the U.S. to take care of the worlds problems. They piss and moan about how this country is unfair and gets involved in issues that don't concern us, of course until they need help out the problems they've ignored. I am of German decent and I am ashamed of it. I wouldn't even go over and visit.

I'll tell you why he won't go. It's because President Ronald Reagan's name will be mentioned as the reason

the wall was brought down. Obama knows he can't stand up to the legacy of one of our greatest presidents,

Ronald Reagan, making the famous "tear down this wall" speech.

Ronald Reagan would cast a long shadow over Obama at the celebration, that's why he won't go.

You are a SCUMBAG and a LIAR.

President Obama does not snub other countries. We have a competent President after eight long, disastrous years incompetence and all you can do is make up lies about him.

Considering how he was sucking up to "Old Europe" in the run up to the election i'm rather surprised. But then again here's the guy who blew off the Police Memorial for a hockey team photo-op.

And there go the Republican scumbags again.

If Obama had gone, they would have criticized him for wasting his time on a ceremony.

When he decides not to go because he is up to his ears trying to clean up Bush's mess, they criticize him for that.

If he eliminated world hunger, the SCUMBAGS would criticize him for contributing to overpopulation.

IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT HE DOES.

THE SCUMBAGS WHO CAUSED THIS MESS

ARE GOING TO CRITICIZE HIM FOR EVERYTHING!

I hadn't thought of that but I think you may be right. Our socialist leader hearing our great Republican President Ronald Reagan being praised may be too much for him.

And then of course if our leader was asked to comment on Reagan, the words might choke him.

the real problem is........in all this time he hasn't done anything that benefits our country. The economy will fix itself, it didn't need bailouts it needs confidence. Show the world the U.S. will not tolerate dishonest bankers and investors. They should have gone after Madoff and his whole staff and most of all his family, no bail. Obama has a chance to be a good president but he won't take the lead and that is seen as weakness. He is a puppet of a very liberal group that is pushing their wacky agenda. If he's doing anything, he's trying to shove this agenda down our throats. I'm not concerned in the least because most people reject those ideas. There is more to lose than most people think. He will single handedly screw up any chance of another person of color ever being elected again. You can only BS your way through a job for a limited time and time is up. He did one great thing, he got people to vote that normally would not have. If the health care bill passes the way it is, those same voters will find out how much it has cost them. That will be his downfall.

The economy will not fix itself. It didn't fix itself after the crash of 1929 and it won't fix itself now. The organization of a modern economy has to be very carefully directed. There is no historical precedent to support your claim.

It's just plain dumb to argue for control of the bankers and investors and then say that the liberals have a wacky agenda.

The liberals are the only ones advocating control of the bankers and investors!

The reason it won't happen any time soon, probably before the economy collapses completely at some point, is that the bankers, investors and others on the political right have a stranglehold on the government even when the Democrats are in power. If you believe what you just wrote, then you shouldn't be calling the liberals wacky.

Yeah, like you know. You don't know a single thing about it. That's stupid excuse to criticize Obama. Everyone celebrates the tearing down of the Berlin wall. Secretary of State Clinton is attending.

If Obama went, you would criticize him for wasting his time on a photo opportunity. If he doesn't go, you call it a snub.

It's his call. You're just using any excuse you can think of to criticize him.

All joking aside.......have you had your blood pressure checked. You seem very excitable. If you have people that rely on you, get it checked for them.

I am surprised that Obama passed. Every other major world leader was present and since we purport that we're a major reason the wall fell it would have been appropriate if Obama showed.

My blood pressure is fine, thanks. I told you: if you want the knuckle-draggers to understand something,

YOU HAVE TO WRITE IT VERY BIG AND IN CRAYON.

It would have been entirely appropriate but he was in Washington helping get an historic health care bill through the House. That was entirely appropriate too.

Historic health care bill?? Make me laugh, that 2000 pages of socialist crap will never get through the senate.

You probably believe John Wayne was a war hero too, right?
