Guest ko
When 2smart4u says "O'Reilly," you say "Falafel." This is why cable's number one news guy (amongst over 60s) has zero credibility: Next month marks the 5th anniversary of the sex scandal that... well... nobody really cared about. Yes, it's been five years since Bill O'Reilly was hit with a $60 million sexual harassment suit that he brought on himself. Saying "he brought it on himself" is not stating the obvious either. He basically challenged the victim, Andrea Mackris, to a showdown, by suing the Fox producer for extortion before she officially filed her suit. Here are the links: Andrea's complaint: http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/1013043mackris1.html Bills complaint: http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/1013042oreilly1.html If you only get a chance to read one, please choose Andrea's. It is much, much more hilarious (and disturbing). TSG.com provides links to the funnier parts of the complaint, which tend to read like an erotic novel. My argument does not hinge simply on the fact that a prominent talk show host intended to cheat on his wife, or that he sexually harassed a woman. No, no. This is the classic case of the guy who fell down off his moral high horse. This is a guy who, the same year this scandal broke, had already written a book for your kids and another claiming he was "looking out for you." One edition of Who's Looking Out for You has a quote from a reviewer on its cover claiming "[O'Reilly shines] the spotlight on corruption, immorality, crime, and the ridiculous." I don't know about the corrupt, but O'Reilly seems to have covered the other bases... O'Reilly and Mackris settled out of court and many suspect he spent millions making sure this thing didn't get dragged out. O'Reilly failed in getting into bed with Mackris, 'cause his game don't compare to another Bill's. O'Reilly is a bald, ugly weirdo. He has no friends, just like 2smart4u. Very good Ko, I see you're learning the leftist playbook well; If you don't have anything, make up stuff and call them names. I'm curious though, how would you know anything about O'Reilly's friends, or lack of them? As for me, I thought you were my friend. Oh well, I guess not. BTW, as the Numero Uno Honcho of cable news, O'Reilly is making $10,000,000. a year. Six million viewers a night compared with MSNBC's 12 viewers. Anything else you care to discuss? If I don't have anything to say? I can recall only a few times where I did not reply to one of your lies, or exagerrations, or dangerous opinions w/out a legit argument. Obviously I'm not above name calling, but that's not all I'm about either. I just posted this for good fun... And because it only gets any play is on Keith Oberman's Super Happy Liberal Fun-Time Hour on MSNBC. Also, because the people who dish out money for Bill-O's CRAP should know what a goddamn phony he is. These are more than personal exploits. This is a case of a dirtbag attempting to use his position of power to get himself laid... and failing, of course... Honestly, though, I really want to know what you think of all this. Do you really like Bill? Do you really think he's a "good guy" or he's "looking out for you?" I think Bill sleeps at night... and that's the scary thing. And I think you sleep at night too... and dream of Bill... which is not scary and there's nothing wrong with it at all. Seriously, seriously... You can argue all you want about money, and ratings, and money, and corporate sponsors, and money. You're talking to a guy who measures people on factors like honesty, intelligence, morality, culture, intellect, and beauty. Also, I just might be a socialist who doesn't think anybody should be making 10,000,000 dollars for anything. I know McDonalds has serves people in the hundreds of millions every day. Does that mean their food is good? Or good for you? No, It means enough people are fat and stupid. (and poor as F**K too). "Six million viewers can't be wrong!" Really? That's your ace in the hole? According to you, more than 50 percent of Americans who made it to the polls in November were wrong. So explain why O'Reilly winning a ratings race means ANYTHING at all. My argument is that he is a sexual deviant and he loses all credibility as a "culture warrior," because his culture war is based on some delusion of White-Christian-American morality that he doesn't possess. F**K him.

If there'e anything I can do to help, let me know.
