Lt A Gouveia Posted August 25, 2009 Report Share Posted August 25, 2009 The Kearny police need your help to catch the men that Robbed Rachel's Jewelry store and killed the owner on Tues August 18th at 9:00am. Please call any tips into Lt Anthony Gouveia or any officer at the Kearny Police Dept. 201-998-1313. You can e-mail me at agouveia@kearnynjpd.org. We have every available officer working to catch these cowards. We have a lot of leads, and video footage, but we need as much help as we can get. The family deserves to have these men brought to justice. We can't do it without your help. There is a flyer on this website home page, it has a sketch and a vehicle, this vehicle was also in town the day before for several hours, on Kearny Ave. Someone has to know who these men are. Please remember this poor man was killed in front of his mother while trying to protect her. We have officers from patrolmen to the Chief of police looking for these people, on their own time, as well as on duty. This hit home for all the Kearny Police Officers and we have to make sure we catch them. This crime took about 3 minutes to commit, but will affect this town and the family of the victim forever.
