Guest Wondering
I live on a block where parking is not easy to find, 3 different families have more then one car ...........all of which have out of state plates, isn't there a time period in which you have to re-register your car? I was told that in Harrison the police make note of the cars and if they are not re-registered they ticket the cars. Also I was wondering if parking permits issued to Kearny residents might help, you would have to show proof that you live in town.

Guest imigration man
You will see alot of Pennsylvania plates and North Carolina plates. That's because the person registering the vehicle is not legal and cannot get it registered in New Jersey. NC and PA will register anyone.
