ObamaCare is going nowhere. The Wall Street Journal called the House bill the worst legislation ever introduced in Congress. David Chase of the NY Slimes called the legislation "liberals on a suicide march".

The Blue Dogs are jumping ship, they want no part of this runaway train that the annointed one is steering off the tracks. Obama's popularity is dropping fast, it's under 50% in all catagories.

The Dems won't admit it but many GOP Senators are predicting bankruptcy by the end of the year if Obama is not stopped.

2. Nothing you say ever has any credbility anyway. You just say whatever would make Democrats look bad, if it was true.

3. It's not true. Obama's popularity is not under 50% in all categories. The stock market is back up to nearly 9,000. Two of the major financial companies just reported big profits. Unemployment is high but not as high as many predicted. Just because it's still bad doesn't mean Obama isn't doing a good job. He is, and tonight he will have a news conference. He will rally the people.

4. The Wall Street Journal was taken over by rabid right-winger Rupert Murdoch. It leaned far to the right before he bought it and has tipped completely over since.

5. It's David Brooks, moron, and he's not "of the NY" Times. He is a conservative Republican columnist who writes an Op-Ed piece for them once or twice a week. He wrote an interesting but misleading piece in which he completely ignored the merits of the proposed legislation. All he focused on was the political difficulty getting major legislation passed. And then he compared the Democrats to the Republicans even though the cases are not parallel.

6. The reason good health care legislation is so hard to get is that powerful interests, especially the insurance industry, want to protect their "right" to fleece the American people with the current system. Apparently you enjoy having your pocket picked. Other countries have done away with that and are paying less for better health care. If you cared about the truth and about your country, you would pay attention to the facts, not just the short-term politics.

7. Most important, we need national health care and we are going to have it. If we fail, then the country fails.

8. You would be perfectly happy seeing the country fail under Obama because that would fit in with your little right-wing fantasies.

People, just think about something.......in the world of PROPER, efficient healthcare why would anyone design a system where a third party.........a friggin INSURANCE cluster of corporations.........becomes lord and master? This chit came to us in majestically slow graduation while America was cementing its dumbed down materialistic caffone mindset elsewhere and "suddenly" we have this grand tradition of huge healthcare dollars going not to ANYONE dealing with syringes or bedpans or bloodpacks or oxygen or scalpels..........but to some bevy of calculating Gucci jerkoffs in glass towers. Doesn't such a thing as healthcare........think of it as an abstract........prompt a reasonable person to think that all the energies, payments and earnings that define the experience should be between those human beings in need of care and those that DO the care? The health insurance industry doesn't need a government takeover, the health insurance industry needs government oversight and regulation.
