Guest Doctor When
Does anyone know if or when the town is going to fill the last dispatcher position that has been open since september. It appears that they current ones have been working way too much and have tons of overtime under their belt. If one of them were to make a mistake who's fault would it really be? Apparently no one cares about the safety factor involved by making these people work way more hours than any other town workers. They have put people in the position but they couldn't make the grade, so what's next ? Their going to just burn out the existing dispathers and then then what ? Someone wakeup BEFORE their is a problem.

I wonder where the money from the 4 dispatchers that were employed went too? Magically disappeared I guess. They are pretty dumb though, can't they see the writings on the wall to get rid of them all. And what did the DCA say should be done with them. The report was just a fluke to use against the PD but it will only apply when they need it to be. The town is in a hiring freeze and cannot pay for more lazy dispatchers with great benefits. Maybe they should look for a real job if they don't like it. Guest guest
You are very ignorant. The 911 dispatchers are probably the most vital link to the that the public or the community depends on. The decision on the priority of a call or the urgency of the call be it a domestic violence situation, health problem, or any other myriad of situations is the most crucial part of the 911 system. If there is any area where I can see more money spent in this town and not considered a waste is more and continuous training for the dispatchers. Anyone with even an 8th grade education can figure that out but you, sadly, have missed the bus

You must be kidding with call the DCA, there are another bunch of corrupt individuals who are all involved in the same shit. Call the Attorney General and let them know about all those nice things that you know about our little town. Then and only then will something get done. They have turned a blind eye to ALL of the ongoings by saying although some things may be questionable they are not illegal. The people building the parking garage are in cohoots with a Hudson County politician who happens to be best friens with the Mole. Enough said. As you can see NO ONE CARES about the safety in harrison. They all talk a good game but nobody has the B... to do anything about it. The time WILL come and hopefully it is not your child or loved one who gets caught in the middle when the dispatchers cannot keep up with the amount of work they are trying to do. How cheap can they be ? There's no money, yet some people get $ 12,000 raises, yeah right OK.
