The memorial for the Piscotta Brothers who gave their lives for our country deserve better atttention. To walk on that bridge and see the condition of this memorial means our elected officals don't get around the 4th Ward to much, Its a disgrace that they let this get so bad. Is this anyway to honor these brave young men. All Veterans should be outraged, Shame on Mayor Santos, Councilmembers Landy and McCurrie. Remember this Veterans come election time.

You mean the one on the Chestnut Street Bridge? I went by it today and it looks fine to me. What's wrong with it?

Have you looked at what the Mayor and Council has added to the World War I monument/Veterans' Park at Kearny Avenue? Or the front hall at Town Hall? They have gone out of their way to ensure proper plaques honoring our veterans.

I stand by my post. The condition of the memorial is in need of reconditioning. The least you can is remove the tarnish from the plague and clean it up so you can read it. Shame on Santos, Landy, & McCurrie Veterans remember this come election time.

I walked it again. The plaque is good.
