She didn't get a position she was interviewed for, therefore had her "people" go to the paper. As far as her being a reading administrator, that is not a position in the district. Also, the ski trip---she didn't even get on the *** **** *** ****. She chose to drive **** *** ******** and *** *******. So much for be responsible for the students in her care! This is a fact! The whole thing just stinks of the usual Kearny politics. If Correnti has a legitimate complaint, let her challenge the Board to make their reasons public by waiving her privacy rights. If she does that, then the Board should explain itself, considering how long she has been in the school system. If she doesn't, then she's just going to have to live with the decision. Guest guest Posted June 27, 2008 Report Share Posted June 27, 2008 My son who is a member of the ski club, said she only went on 1 trip this past season and was on the bus! He said she was very responsible and spent alot of time with the kids on the mountain. Also, he has been in the club for 3 years and 3 chaperones were on the bus and 2 drove to Vermont in case someone got hurt and had to go to the hospital. The bus and car followed each other. From what he said, there have been a couple of injuries where Mrs. C. spent hours at the hospital until a parent was reached. I support the club and think it's great for the kids.
