She said that with his thin resume he wouldn't have gotten a second glance. Of course for those comments she has been called a racist by the Loony Left. Apparently in the Loony Left world you cannot have an honest opinion about a black person without being labeled a racist. But she's absolutely right with her assessment of Barack Hussain Obama, he has no resume. He steals quotes from JFK, MLK and Churchill and throws the words hope and change around ad nauseam. White Loonys are supporting him only to prove they are not racist (unlike Ferarro). If Hussain gets elected (God forbid) we're all in trouble. I took note of his charisma during the 2004 Democratic Convention and pegged him as a future star for the Democrats. It had nothing to do with his race. He has charisma comparable to Clinton's (keeping it to the clean stuff) and speaks very well. And he has run a smart campaign by mostly keeping his inexperience hidden under fairly bland rhetoric. Ferraro--stupid to say what she did? Yeah, I'd say so. It doesn't justify calling her a racist, though. Both Clinton and Obama have derived benefit from identity politics. The black people of this country initially wouldn't vote for Obama, because they thought it would be a throwaway because they felt a black person wasn't electable. He actually had more of an uphill battle, but he managed to convince people, and look where he is now--some 130 delegates ahead, pretty much an insurmountable lead. Edwards isn't as charismatic as Obama, but Obama has identity politics working in his favor (blacks vote for Obama) while Edwards doesn't/didn't. You'd be silly to try to deny it.
