speedy1
This morning Kearny lost one of it's most popular crossing guards, and many of us lost a dear friend. Dottie Smith of Kearny passed this morning after a long battle with cancer. I am proud to have called her my friend, she was the crossing guard at Kearny Ave. at St. Cecilias Church. and was one of the most energetic people I knew, she always had a nice word for everyone. I would just like to convey my sympathy to her family and to all that knew her.
