Guest Guest
The recent election in Harrison is proof that the Hudson County Democratic Organization is alive and well under the leadership of the party chairman Bob Menendez. If you or a family member, or even a friend ,should decide to take a county, or town job, you have to check your manhood at the door and not step out of line. Does anyone think that a Harrison Police Officer was transferred to the night shift when his brother filed a petition to run for mayor, was a co-incidence. Do you believe the man who ran the street sweeper for years and was transferred to cutting grass, with a weed wacker, when his wife filed a petition to run as a councilwomen was a coincidence? The "Concerned citizens of Harrison" even listed the sister of a sister in law as a person who had a town job. If you take a job and drink from the trough, that means you, your wife, children, relatives, even friends have sold your soul to the political machine. You had better hope no one steps out of line or you to can suffer the consequences. Let's send Bob to Washington as a senator, so we can show the rest of the nation how things are done in Hudson County. These are great times to be living in Hudson County. People should make note of the events that happen around here at election time so they could tell their grand children how things are done in this county.
