Services in the town are deplorable at best. Its your right to be there. Pack it on in. Ask why they want to reduce deputy chiefs in the police department and freeze the firemen where they are. Okay, I can understand "lacking," but I think "deplorable" is a bit exaggerated. Its your right to be there. Pack it on in. This eans that the department will NEVER be at full complement, since they cannot hire replacements until after people are off the books. it takes a Minimum of NINE MONTHS (Not counting the hiring process itself) to get a new patrolman on the street. Six months at the Police Academy, at least 12 weeks of Field TRaining afterwards. Karnak says..next year the Mayor will be screaming about all the Overtime the cops made..but what he WONT tell you is that He and the Council CREATED the consitions for that overtime, by ensuring that the department will ALWAYS be short handed. And for the KFD, they can't handle anything without Harrison, J/C, or No. Arlington's help, so we might as well merge like they did in North Hudson(No. Bergen, U. City, W. New York etc.) And the ambulance... please, lets not even get into it with them.
