Guest Tom K Posted May 1, 2006 Report Share Posted May 1, 2006 I read on Talkingpolitics.net that Leo R. Vartan, former Mayor of Kearny, admitted to using $70,000 in campaign funds for personal use. He was indicted on mail and tax fraud charges in 2002 and is awaiting sentencing. Does anyone know if our former mayor, who I am shamefully guilty of voting for the first time around, has been sentenced yet? If so, what were the results?
