Guest Guest
Does anyone know if there excepting any donations for the people that lost everything in the fire the other morning , and where we could bring them ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The children who were affected by the fire attend Franklin school. The school is putting something together to give to the families. Try contacting the school nurse, Ann Fillipone.
Guest Norman
I would like to donate advice to the Harrison Fire Chief. Stay out of buildings that had been evacuated while awaiting demolition.

Guest Guest
they say that the jersey city fire chief ,ripped the hfd fire chief a new as -hole for endangering the life of his firefighter and all the other firefighters that were there--10 hours of 3 master steams thowing ten of thousands of gallons of water into the building . the building was waiting to be demo. and this joker decides hes going to take a stoll thru the building., without telling anyone.,when they pulled him out which was no small task he looked like a drowned rat (lobster),god help the harrison fire dept if he is the brain child of the dept. Guest Guest
enough about th hfd chief- i would hope that he realizes that he screwed up(big)..and that he will hopefully never put himself or another fireman in peril again ..my advice to him is to slow down before you have a stroke-know chief in new jersey does what you do ,,you dont have to be at every fire--big or little thats why you have dep. chiefs, let them run and learn there job ,or they will never understand the word comand---your chief didnt micro -manage you when you were a dep. chief---words to live by==========or die
