MrHarrison
Did anyone else see the article in today's (9/6/05) edition of the Jersey Journal about our "tax dollars at work"? Fire Chief Tom Dolaghan makes $118,146 per year. Police Chief John Trucillo made $118, 146 per year. Health Director Karen Comer makes $108,825 per year. Tax Collector Margaret Powell makes $108,825 per year. Town Clerk Paul Zarbetski makes $108,825 per year. Town Treasurer Elizabeth Higgins makes $108,825 per year. That's $671,592 dollars that the town spends to pay just SIX PEOPLE. What's wrong with this town? I'm going into the wrong profession; I should just get a job on the town. But that won't happen; I'm not related to anyone!

Guest What a joke
http://www.nj.com/news/jjournal/index.ssf?...8070.xml&coll=3 Ok so Mayor McDonuts doesn't get paid a whole lot from the town of Harrison, the article neglects to mention that since he was voted in, Ray was given a job with Passaic Valley and is also compensated in much larger ways

ATTEND TOWN MEETINGS, LISTEN AND INVESTIGATE, AND AND THEN SPEAK YOUR MIND AND GET YOUR NEIGHBORS INVOLVED THIS IS YOUR TOWN AND YOU DO HAVE RIGHTS OF SPEECH, SO STAND UP AND BE HEARD. WE NEED A WHOLE NEW SLATE IN THE COUNCIL, WE NEED PEOPLE NOT RELATED TO ONE ANOTHER AND NOT WORKING IN THE TOWN. SOMEONE WHO OWES THE MEMBERS OF THE CURRENT COUNCIL NOTHING. LETS BLOW THEM AWAY!!!!!!!!!

Guest Guest
No wonder why they work so hard to get this mayor re-elected!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And that, my fine friend, is the “modus operandi” of what really matters in all forms of government- and perhaps in all types of relationships. As my old dear friend Dick Nixon used to say: “In politics, only two things really matter- what people CAN DO FOR YOU and what people CAN DO TO YOU.” God bless his and FER’s soul. Welcome to Politics 101. Class dismissed.
