Guest Guest Posted August 10, 2005 Report Share Posted August 10, 2005 In trying to promote the stadium deal and the growing need for professional soccer, I heard that the USA mens national soccer team is ranked #6 in the world ahead of Ireland, Italy and Spain. Is it not coincidence that thise countries were mentioned in that order during the press conference. Who was that statement aimed at. I ask this, when the world cup rolls around, who at the press conference, on stage and in attendance, actually roots for the USA team.
