WHERE MANY TEAMS FROM ALL OVER NORTHERN NEW JERSEY OUR COMPETING FOR THE TITLE. THERE IS GREAT BASEBALL AND NO POLITICS. SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT DAY OUT TO BREATH SOME FRESH AIR. And that's "are competing" not our. w <{POST_SNAPBACK}> here is an idea" take ALL THE MONEY from the old and now unneeded sports programs that are tax payer "supported " and redriect it to ward2 for help fixing the problems! when was the last audit of the sports funds?with all the towns money problems this money should go to fix real problems! most kids in kearny do not have time for this stuff anymore so why wast the money on it! Guest kearny parent Posted August 3, 2005 Report Share Posted August 3, 2005 here is an idea" take ALL THE MONEY from the old and now unneeded sports programs that are tax payer "supported " and redriect it to ward2 for help fixing the problems! when was the last audit of the sports funds?with all the towns money problems this money should go to fix real problems! most kids in kearny do not have time for this stuff anymore so why wast the money on it! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In regards to a Recreation Dept. audit, you'll have to contact the Town.... but when it comes to Little League I can tell you the kids pay a very small registration fee, and EVERYTHING else is either given by sponsors, fundraisers,or donations..... sorry about the problems in Ward 2, but taking the money from the kids is not the answer.
