Yes, I know.  One of the criteria for receiving that aid was that the school district also had to have qualified for HELP aid in the 04/05 school year.  (HELP = Higher Expectations for Learing Proficiency).  Kearny did not qualify.  And please remember that the main sponsors of the bill that provided the "Abbott Rim" funding are Sacco and Doria, whose school districts benefited by the millions (approx. 6 million for Bayonne (Doria), and 8 million for North Bergen (Sacco). 

By the way, Kearny was made eligibile for HELP aid for the 05/06 school year, much to the tenacity of Mary Torres who hounded state legislators trying to find out why Kearny was precluded in the first place.   

Now, that's the TRUTH, but  judging by your past history, Bert, I will be SO interested to hear your version.  You've got til April, so it should be a WHOPPER!
